Case #017
“Put in $24,000, take 25% a year with compound interest, and in ten years you have $1,000,000 and can retire on $250,000 a year.”
OPENConfidence: HIGH
On 10 September 2026 the Securities and Exchange Commission filed a civil complaint in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York against Ernest Ossei Boateng, Intercontinental Wealth Network LLC and I Wealth Network LP. The complaint alleges they sold at least $16 million of securities in a pooled vehicle to at least 200 investors on a promise of guaranteed returns, and that "only approximately half of Investors' money was ever invested." Every figure in this autopsy comes from that complaint or from the SEC's press release of the same date. A complaint is one side's pleading. Nothing in it has been proven, admitted or adjudicated.
